I wouldnt worry about that at all, and yeaa you might blend in with every other SS on the road but that hood looks damn good.

Im in the same position as you though, im unsure of what hood to go with. The Sunoco or SS.....

im goin with the harwood 2.5 cowl hood!! thing looks mean as hell too..

i also love the mean look of the 3" SS hood too..

The SS still looks the best. But since i have a Z/28, i think its between an Ultra-Z and a Sunco hood, can't got wrong with either. Sometimes i think the Sunco hood is better other times i think the U-Z is better both great hoods.

for some reasons i like the flat hood better now than i use to,

i still got it on my Z,
