Sommer86 is using one of my center console blank plates to mount his I-Phone where the cubby hole and cig. lighter are...

Using a magnet or mounted a one of those snap on cases to the plate to snap it into, I don't know which, he talked about both...

I use the little box above the ash tray. But a POS iPhone might be to ginormous to fit there.

**** The iPhone, and all Crapple along with it. . . . . .

I used a 6LE blank console gauge plate to mount my iphone. I removed the cubby hole and cigarette lighter. I then attached a "clip in" iphone holder (attached sideways so i can scroll album covers). badda-boom-badda-bing.... I have a OEM looking-ish iphone holder that's out of the way....and my iphone connects to my radio via an isimple iphone kit (that i did a write-up for) that i routed through the ashtray door. (I have an A4)

Hope this helps.

Here's a link to my write up too.
