You can break anything with abuse. I guarantee that most of these guys are abusing their transmissions, doing things like daily burnouts and hotlapping the trans. There is a reason why some people with 500rwhp can hold onto these transmissions for awhile. It's about maintenance and care. If you abuse your car, things will break, no matter how "bulletproof" you think they are.
