My Performabuilt lv2 ran it no problems and I had many low 10sec passes on it and would stack it against any car I ran the tranny for a year and half with NO Issues at all keep in mind.
My car weighs 3600lbs without me in it has all airbags stereo and a 6point cage with factory carpet. I wanted to build a race car so I actually handed down the tranny to my brother and its in his camaro running my old motor. I called FRANK and told him I was building a track car .and Ordered one of there NEW T400 and built a new N20 motor for a 300 to 400 shot of spray.for my car and making it a tracking only car. My brother is still rocking my tranny and smoking people on the street.
Depends what is your goal. I used to drive 80 miles round trip with my performa built to the track with drag radials with a 3500 stall. race half the night drive into town and go to waffle house. very streetable. My new set up not so much streetable 5000 stall rmvb and a 646 lift cam. which will tear the track up. but no so good driving in traffic. Depends on what your goal is man

Here is some passes my car made with the lv2 PERFORMABUILT 4L60E
http://media.putfile.com/john1030 10.36 pass

10.14 pass

NHRAFORMULA00 is running 10.50s on a stock 4l60E with over 75 passes in that range...the key is keeping the heat out...

FLT has a nice trans...

Oddly that happens at times actually possibly more often than alot of people think since they read on here about failures alot because well , People don't generally make to many post about how there old somethings doing lol usually its when theres a problem and as I said before it can deceive people it believe that the 60e fails alot more often than is true

i would rather go 4l80 because when the 60e fail it generally breaks hard parts which are expensive. an 80e might be heavier and cost a little more hp to run but if it breaks its generally clutches which are cheaper

As for the 10.14 car the trans that was in it is now in his brothers car and going strong it was not changed due to any issue it had but rather because he plans to go alot faster than the 10.14 and has changed the car to a primarily strip car and its no longer a daily driver.lol and of course he wanted the RMVB and Transbrake

Dont forget about me Frank! I have timeslips posted in the fastest 346 N/A thread for proof. As for nines you will have a 9 sec car in your stable sometime next year make no mistake about that either. My engine compartment is currently unoccupied and it's not gonna take me very much to get there.
