Eliminating PWM
Eliminating PWM I'm installing a 96 4l60e into a 94 4l60e camaro. I understand everything involved in the swap except for eliminating the PWM. I can't seem to get a straight answer. Some people say you need to swap the valve body and wiring harness. While others say there's a way to eliminate it by just installing a different valve and disconnecting the PWM solenoid, which I would prefer. If anyone could help point me in the right direction it would help alot. I know you can get a built trans with the PWM eliminated so how do they do it?

Is deleting PWM something i should do after installing a 3500 stall in a bone stock 69,000 mile transmission? Will it help extend tranny life or help it from bucking when at low rpms and cruising slow speeds?

Verdad Gallardo Thats it and yes you must leave the solenoid in place and you can even leave it plugged in the car has no wire in the harness for it anyway .
