Smile Hitting rev limiter at w.o.t

Hey fellas Im still hitting the 7000 rpm mark at w o t trying to figure out how to prevent this before I lose another tranny I also changed the speed senor on the tail shaft but its still doing it I need help anyone?

Did you install a new converter without tuning for it?

The tranny was rebuilt and the stall he put in there with the rebuild is a stock one so I'm scared because my love for the fbodys are fading do to this fact its my 4th rebuild if it break don't know what I'll do.

The issues you are having could be from the rebuilt or from the tune. I would have someone tune your vehicle if you are having issues with wot shifts. If that does not help I would consider a different builder. Take a look here for tuners and trans sponsors. I'm sure one of us can get you in the right direction. Vince

Hey Vince The car isn't tuned It also did this with the stock tranny I had at 1st I think the vss sensor went out again what you think?

Are you still having issues with the vss? Have you ever changed the gear in this car or tire size?

Yes Vince to 3.42 from 3.23 I think the vss went out again because the last time I changed it ,it stopped hittin the 7000rpm mark but I don't know fellas.

One more thing Vince do you think my tranny is ok because I discovered this problem not long ago I haven't ran the car hard since the 1st time it hit the 7000rpm mark don't have a code either.

mine startin doing this right after i changed tire size for 26 to 28, soon afterwards my tranny began to slip. But that may be due to the fact that I was running 325's in the rear
