Speedometer for TH350
Hey Guys
I did the TH350 swap for 2002 LS1. Everything is great but I need to know how fast I am going. I saw a few threads that you can rig stuff and make the speedometer work for free but that requires alot of stuff I didnt really understand and it wont allow abs to work anymore etc. Is there an easier why to make this work. Cost doesn't matter. Just hit me with the info.
Thanks Alot

rossler transmissons I believe offers a new machined tailshaft with reluctor wheel for the the TH350 to a ls1. Call them up. I believe the shaft is like 200.00 and the reluctor is another 30.00 or so.

Woah, $200 for a new output shaft for a th350 just for a speedo? The reluctor wheel fits a bone stock th350 shaft.
If you use a short tail th350 all you need to do is find a BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) Tailhousing with a 2" speedo hole. (Chevy uses a 3/4" hole.)
Get one of those and take the reluctor wheel and speed sensor off something like a 1992 700R4/4L60, the parts install like they were made for it. (of course you have a th350 with a 9" tail I'm guessing so you can't do this)
So get an mechanical cable to electric sender adapter, just screw it on the existing speedo output, plug it in, calibrate it, Done.
I cannot see tearing a trans down to an empty case when there are so many other options.
