Default finished my converter install today

finally got around to installing my 3600 stall converter this weekend...

all i can say is WOW, its a completely different car and comes out of the hole like a raped ape and is a hell of a lot more fun to drive!

i noticed that at 60mph on the highway that it is running around 2500rpms, would that make it a non lockup? it seems to always be slipping..any thoughts?

anyways, i just wanted to express my excitement! although the gas mileage is suffering! lol

Sounds like it's not locking at hwy speeds. That usually can be corrected by tuning.

yeah you need a tune. mine locks up at 50 mph down to 1600 rpm. and hitting the rev limiter is called "stall wall". needs tune.

Mine did the opposite before the tune. It would WOT shift way early.

Get that tune and you'll notice the higher shift extension too. Stalled auto is fun.

Yea and go ahead and start saving for some tires too

Right after you put it in it is hard to resist the urge to light'em up on a daily basis Trust me
