I knew Rosler had a brake setup for around 595, but you have to put in a aftermarket pan ($150-$220 easy), and I didn't want to mess with it.
Your setup seems more straight forward.

Would I need to have any tuning done for it to be correct??
I have an LT1 car with a TCI control box (no manual shifts for me) to control my 4L80E and my Twist machine paddle shifter. But I would love to have a Trans brake for the track.
You need to at least go into the transmission and remove the center seal from direct clutch and the 2nd seal on the center support. You need a drill and also have to tap and plugs some holes. No deep pan required, it fits in the production pan. You might want to adjust the shift feel a little this will firm it up. As for functionality you just push a button and put the pedal to the floor or were you need for a good launch. It will hold you at the line until you release the button. I can send you the installation instructions if that helps you make your decision. Send me an email and I will respond.

We have quite few running at this time. I let will let the users give their opinion when they have tested our product. We do stand behind any of our products if you are not satisfied. We will also match any competitors price and warranty on our transmissions. Our 4l60e, 4l65e and 4l70e transmissions are just a strong as any on market. Our 4L85 is the best one on the market.

Please email me instructions, pictures, etc. I have a Transgo 3 in mine now and Rossler lives 30 minutes away. I want to setup all three on seperate valvebodies, compare the FMVB's and then both transbrakes.

Will your transbrake work on a valve body that already has a Transgo HD-2 kit installed?

It should work without a problem. If you have any concerns send me your valve body and I will return it ready to install.

Jim and Randy, (Trinity)
Thanks a bunch for the after hours tech support yesterday.

A couple of notes,
If your 4L80 Vb has been TransGo kitted, whether it be a TransGo SK (Shift Kit) HD-2, or HD-3 the TP Transbrake will have issues.

If you have the TransGo HD-3, forget it, find another VB.

If you have the TransGo HD-2 with the gear command, it's probably not worth the trouble to mess with, HD-2 without gear command, put the VB back to stock. i.e replace the 3rd/Rev shuttle checkball, plug the hole for the pressure relief, and use the TP plate.

SK,
plug the hole for the pressure relief, and you can make the TP brake work.

Trinity gets kudos from me for standing behind their product.

Thanks Jake, it was a nice working with someone who truly understands transmissions and hydraulics as well. Let us know what your customer thinks of the final product.

If you need VB's to pre-build let me know. I can get early and late style.

I still have to work out an issue on the 4L80E with your brake but I think it's a pressure issue and I won't know until I get a gauge on it in a couple of days.

It all air checks good, it's been warm enough that I don't think it's assembly gel in the boost valves. I know the pump clearances are dead on. I hope the customer didn't foul up the converter install. More feedback in a few days.
