Default brake options for the 80e

Hey guys....

Are any of you running the Trinity 4l80e Trans transbrake? They are not a sponsor so I cannot link them, and I'd ask that no one else does either...

Their brake is more affordable than the other unit (nearly half) that I had been looking at and it fits in a stock pan as well....

anyone?

Yes, it works very well. They were the 'other guys' I was referring to. That thing must be dipped in gold.

I think I'm going to get the Rossler. Looks real nice. Hopefully this will help me make some boost off the line.

I'll be installing a Trinity Brake in a 4L80 tomorrow. I'll give feedback on the install and quality tomorrow. We'll have to wait on feedback from the customer until after the New Year I believe.

Sorry forgot about this post.

Nice brake. Well made. Easy install. I installed it with the Trinity full manual VB kit.

I gave Randy ( I'm horribl with names, so I hope I remember right) some feedback on a couple of improvements he could make (new seperator plate) but it's definitely worth the $.

I'm waiting on feedback from the customer as far as how well it works.
I didn't install the trans in the car.

Are you guys new sponsors? Didn't think you were when I made the post so I did not make a link to your website.

I am glad to hear that you are and I look forward to checking out your product.

I will add,
the customer service at Trinity was top notch. They got me a brake out Next Day Air so I could get the trans done on the customer's (and mine) schedule.

I'll definitely be using them again in the future.

Trinity how hard is the transbrake to install, can I do it with simple hand tools?? I know very little about transbrake setups? All I know is that it lets me leave at more RPM's maybe you guys can enlighten me?

I knew Rosler had a brake setup for around 595, but you have to put in a aftermarket pan ($150-$220 easy), and I didn't want to mess with it.
Your setup seems more straight forward.

Would I need to have any tuning done for it to be correct??
I have an LT1 car with a TCI control box (no manual shifts for me) to control my 4L80E and my Twist machine paddle shifter. But I would love to have a Trans brake for the track.
