Default Will this shifter work on a 4L60E??????

I have seen people put the quarter stick in their A4 cars, with some minor adjustments. So I was curious if this model would also work.

Thanks

4L60 is is listed as a trans that is compatible with that shifter. I am sure it will take a little fab work to install the shifter, but i dont see any reason it wouldnt work. Personally i would go with something a little cheaper, you dont need to spend that much. I just got the TCI outlaw for my TH400, only reason i went with that is cause it is a FMVB, otherwise i woulda went cheaper.

I know they are expensive. I just wanted to see what all my options are before purchasing a shifter for my 4L60. I would have put a stock one in, but the console is gone. And the stock shifter without a console would look like ***.

I hear ya on that. I am swaping from T-56 to TH400, so i just decided to do away with the console all together. So choosing a shifter did have some Look factor involved in it, thats one of the reasons i picked the TCI.

I like the B&M magnum and its a 100 bucks cheaper.

maybe this one

Yea, im going T-56 to Rossler 4L60E. Those are both nice, i just think the pistol grip will be most comfortable, as opposed to the ball. Also i have a T-brake, and need the button.

The reason that shift im looking at is so expensive is becuase its the only pistol grip offered for the 700R4. The regular quarter stick for the R4 is still about 275.

Also I found it on a few other sites for just under 300.

the b&m i posted above is for a 4L60e. Jump up on summit, you can pull up all the shifters available for that trans.

I definitly agree, this is the first pistol grip ive owned and its bad ***
