Default HP rating on a Rossler 350

I'm looking at swapping to an auto, and i would like to put in a 350 if i can get it to hold my current hp level ( 500rwhp + 350 shot)

Does anyone know what the top Rossler 350 will hold?

What is the drive train loss difference btwn the 350 and the 400?

What is the weight difference btwn the 350 and the 400?

One question.. why th350 over a th400.. your th400 will be stronger. as far as weight I've never weighed the two. But I would have to assume the th400 will be heavier. Don't get me wrong... Rossler is a great company. You hear goods and bads about everyone. But why would you want to pay an xtra $1200 if not more for a name?? I'm making just under 1k with my cobra. I was going to buy a Rossler. Then one of my buddies th400 had like 100 miles and was messing up. They didn't want to help him too much. I ended up going with this guy out of IL. Great guy.. Great customer service!! Good turn around time!! Have no complaints!!

A Th400 is 10 lbs heavier than a TH350.
I have only seen the weight and rotating mass difference have any effect on low 10 second cars and quicker, and even then it was HUNDREDTHS of a second, nothing worth giving up the reliability of the TH400 for.

The 10 lbs worth of difference is almost entirely in the planetary components, and 10 lbs buys you a lot of reliability and strength for very little if any loss in ET.

I believe that some of this is due to a flywheel effect of the heavier parts, so even though they work against you, they also can work for you, more or less equaling out any losses.

I also believe a TH400 has less frictional loss at the reaction carrier due to using a band instead of clutches.

IME the TH350 would be beyond it's reliable limit with your intended N2O. The Th350 has plenty of clutch and hydraulic capacity (equal to a TH400), but the planets become problematic at 800 HP/TQ, and your torque will spike with the N2O well above 850.

A TH400 wouldn't need too much to withstand your power.
