What stall to get or what to do

Ok so my transmission has gone bad and its time to do something. I cant decide if i should do the A4 to m6 swap if its extremly hard to do or not. If i do stay with my A4 I have found a guy to do a nice rebuild and i cant decide on what stall to get. I have found a slightly used yank 3000 for a good price but i could also get a new edge for about the same. I dont know if edge is decent or not. If anyone had a little info that would be much appreciated.

is he just rebuilding it back with factory parts or are you going with a built one ?? personally with it already out i would just buy a built one from one of the sponsors on here. I found that a rebuild was about the same price as a built one so thats what i went with. Ive seen people on here talking about their edge converters and i dont think ive heard anyone say anything negative about them. 3000 stall is alright for dd and street use. If it were me i would look for something a little bit higher. just my .02

i personally wouldnt buy a used converter!! i am running a vigilante 3200 and i love it for my daily driver.

This is my daily driver and i am skeptical about buying one used. I am having the tranny built up not stock. I just wasnt sure if the edge was a cheap stall i can get a new 3200 for like 500.

I havent heard anything about edge, i read more about PI, and Yank the most on here, but there the most reputable and cost is right there with it. I wouldnt skimp on the TC as it could mess up the rebuilt tranny in no time. for a DD most people go with a 3200-3600.
