Default new to a4

I have a 3200 vig in my 2002z with 323's and boltons. I have also removed T/M. With the stock converter at 25 to 30 if i mashed the peddal the car would put me back in my seat as well as a going from a roll on the highway at like 70 now if i do that the car seems to go nowhere wtf? Before when I raced my buddy on the highway I would pull on him with no problem now he is right next to me with his stock converter car with boltons

are you flooring it? that car should hammer forward!

well IMHO stock convertor cars feel ghey at 25-30 now that i am used to big stalls so somehting is wrong. that convertor you have should hit like a frieght train flashing to around 3700 rpms in your car. you should feel that versus the lame stocker i would make sure the car is not pulling out a bunch of timing. i assume you have custom programing since that is the only way you can delete TM?

I was also told that a 373 gear would help solve the problem by one of the sponsors of the site is this true?

well on 275/50/15 big drag radials, my car at 25-30 mph hammers the tires and spins them instantly. you dont need 3.73 gears to make that convertor hit hard. it should hit hard and kill the tires on stock gears.

Is your car downshifting to 1st when you punch it or only going into second? Make sure you aren't spinning because that will cause an immediate upshift to 2nd. you may need to tweak the shift points to work best for you.

Is something slipping? Maybe you should take it to the track and see how it runs. Also, 3.23's are a great gear for a bolt on car, and not your problem.
