2002 ceta has a ls6 intake possibly block thats it. no ls6 cam or heads. your heads are probably 241 castings the ls6 heads are 243 so you can check 4 yourself. as for your gears you will have to look at your rpo code for that info. a good stall i would recommend is either yank, vig, circle d,etc. any one of our sponsors makes a damn good stall. just give them a call and they will point you in the right direction

yeah dont go cheap with your stall, if your stall goes it could easily take out your tranny. vigilante and yank are the best imo, but ive nothing but good things about circle d's. as for the size of the stall it really depends on the size of the cam you have or are wanting in the future. but you really cant go wrong with a 35-3600 stall imo.

We build a 3600 that is a great street driving converter that will pick you up .7-.8 tenth from stock.Look at our website at the SRL series billet street converters. These converters are on sale till the end of dec and then they will go back to the normal price of 745.00.These converetrs are custom built to each customers combo.See what some of our customers say https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...onverters.html We have been a sponsor on here for some time now.Give me a call at 1-866-726-8358.

Thanks,
Greg

seems all sponsors here have good reps. i went with an EDGE converter (not a sponsor) and haven't had any problems.

You should have 3.23's in the rear, and you should definitely look in to Yank. The SS3600 is one of the most popular converters you'll see mentioned on these forums. I ran a SS4000 and loved it, but wanted ***** to the wall, so I upgraded to a PT4400. The PT is everything I could have ever wanted from a converter, so I'm thrilled with it, but it's not for everyone. You should give Yank a call...they've got awesome customer service and they'll point you in the right direction.

Yes your ceta a4 does have a 3.23 rear end gears. Look at your RPO sticker on the driver side door on the inside and you will see the code GU5. I got my 3.73s and a vig 3200 stall for my ceta. Really woke up the ceta!! You will happy with your car when you get a stall. What mods you know of that's in your car?

Yea true...true. Unlike you guys I don't know my build number. I tried to find out by calling pontiac awhile back. Tried the 800 numbers and all that but a dead end. So I said forget about it.

Eventually, but your stock rear should be fine for awhile. Many run their stock 10-bolts into the 11's and 10's. As far as the gears go, 3.23's aren't that bad. Makes for one heck of a highway car!
