Use a air chisel and a flat bit. Put it in between the block and the bellhousing at the starter block. Push hard up and towards the tranny bellhousing and pull the trigger. We deal with this issue all the time at the shop mostly with 159K mile plow trucks. Works in 3 sec everytime. Its the vibration more than anything that pops it loose. the disimilar metals is what makes it corrode and stick.
