I would suggest at least a 3k stall, it would make it worth it. I personally am saving money right now for my circle d 4k stall and 3.73s. With a 3600, your likely to gain anywhere from .6 to .9, quite a bit of variables there, but you get the idea.

We see .6-.8 tenths gain all the time on a stock f body with just a converter change to a 3600 with no loss of driveability.

I put a 3500 vig stall in a 99 FireHawk and besides the fact that it wont hook up it drives fine (WITH A COOLER). Gas milage well a stall isnt gas friendly but it really isnt that bad. IF your going to do it 3500 or more.

Why so small? These cars respond great to bigger converters, and you won't lose much (if any) drivability
FWIW, if I had a stock LS1 A4 car and somebody gave me a free 2500 stall, I wouldn't even take the time to install it. I'd go straight for at least a 3600
