Let me know what we can do to help! I can make your 4l80 perform better than anyone else.

I highly recommend the Stage II transgo shift kit. 100% better.

I recommend you cut the wings off the case, I just pulled out my TH400 with wings, and had to remove one header, the 4L80E with the wings removed went in much easier, and next time it will come out without removing the header.

depending on what your going to do, there are some basic things i have found
larger front stator bushing, anti walk rear bushing, 5 clutches in direct drum, some pump work with new valving, some work on the valvebody, the transgo shift kit does that-a lot depends on the year case

i didnt see a yellow tag, only a blue rebuild tag that i didnt see a date on, but it came out of like a 94 truck so i assume it is the older model, i read that the newer ones were better but i got this one for $100 so i figured it was worth a shot

thanks for all the info, i mainly just want to bring up all this to my trans guy just to make sure

on another note, is anyone running the trinity trans brake with the automatic valve body, looks like a good deal i just wanted to talk to someone that was running one

thanks
