Yank Converter Question

Yank Converter Question I installed a PY3400 with mods in sig and I don't think I like it. I have never driven a stalled car before and around town it just feels sluggish. Under it flash stall the only thing a can compare it to is driving a car with a badly slipping clutch. I was under the assumption that is you didn't stab the throttle that the converter would act like normal but it is not the case, is it just me and I need to get used to it or is there something wrong with the converter. I bought it used from Dave at yank.

It won't "act normal" till it's locked up. Stock lock up was around 40mph if i remember right. That's when it should feel stock and lock. You have a high stall converter and that feeling of being sluggish and slipping is normal. I'd have to drive the car to know if it's normal I guess.
I'm almost positive you aren't tuned just by reading...
After I got mine tuned, it felt nearly stock and i upped the lock up point to 55mph and firmed up the shift points.
COULDN'T be happier. I'd try a tune and shift kit if I were you. Let him know what you are looking for.

Sounds like its operating normally, However whats its actual stall speed and feel will be in your car since if bought used would be hard to saysince it was not built for your car, I would suggest you do as mentiond above and call Yank and we dont either they dont sell used converters.
