I can get you a stock 4l80e built and shipped to you for $1500. This will be with a shift kit and quality Oem parts.

I plan on making over 750rwhp so a stocker with oem parts isn't good for me but I trying to see if there is a average for people here so I know if I am getting ripped off for a tranny overhaul and conversion. BTW Tptrans do you have a kit for all that is required for the conversion?

I can put together a kit with the transmission parts I would put in for that horsepower. I do not have conversion parts such as crossmembers.

you should put more specs on the build. I did my swap for 1700. I have a 3 year warranty on the trans unlimited mileage.

MUSTANGBRKR02 do you have any of the part# you used? I got my 80 out of a 01 express van with the 5.7. that engine is not an ls if it didn't have a rear cover correct. I got the slip joint, converter, flexplate and dipstick and a foot of each line don't know how much of that i can use yet. The slip joint i think i can use if i get a combo u-joint, i think it will half to be a 1330x1350 joint.

I plan on running STS turbo with a LSX block pretty much everything is stock for right now until I get my block finished. As far as the rearend I just have a Eaton posi. I had some trouble with my last engine so the one I have now is stock with headers with a X pipe. I am not sure what bore I am going to go with seeing as though I have to get the block machined anyway and getting forged internals. When I read about the things necessary for a conversion I was like wow it isn't just an easy swap. So that is why I am asking about the average cost because money will be tight when the engine gets installed and seeing as though it has to get pulled I figure I might as well do this too. Is that price just for the swap?
