ss3600:lower,higher mph
I have a yank ss3600 installed today bout to go pick it up from the shop.question is in the 1/4 will my mph go up,go down,or stay the same.
Yanks are pretty efficient. I went from stock to a PT4000 and gained 1 mph in the 1/8 and 3 mph in the 1/4. Weather was slightly better, but I had heavier wheels also.
I seriously doubt you'll lose any and I would be surprised if you didn't gain.

went to the track today.not a good comparison.best mph was 115.50,115.48 and that was without the ftra, said it would hit the tranny cooler.so with the ftra it should mph the previous best mph.

Good to hear. I'm getting ready to put one on here soon and I was really curious how it drives around town
The cooler I bought is too big. Plus I'm going to redo my ramair setup at some point and I'm not sure how or where that is going to go. I could mount it now, but I know it will be in the way later. And I don't really drive this car much, so as long as I have in on before summer I don't think I'll have any heating problems from not having it.
I'll probably have the bumper cover off for modifying my ram air and I'll just cut and modify whatever it takes to get it to work then.

From a highway roll, it doesn't seem it hit as hard initially as it did with the stock stall. The stall has a cushioning effect of the downshift, but from the MPH increase that I got, I would say that it would have to pull harder on the top end.
That might not be the case with other stalls that are known to hurt MPH.
I picked up from a highway roll cause the shift extension never lets it see less than 4800 which is exactly my peak torque. 1st gear is useless though cause it will break loose on any roll in throttle or downshift. Even on my M/T DR's
I picked up on a highway roll also. And first gear is useless no matter what even on DR's.
