Default Tune question

Well I just finish installing my stall and I was wondering if it would be fine to drive around on the stock tune(not really planning on being on it to hard). I have hp tuners but have not really research tuning the tranny yet. So will I be okay and If not what do I need to tune so I can drive it. And its the stall in my sig

Well you can drive it, Shifting may be strange at times and yu may set limp mode occasionally till you do tune it, Since you have the tuner I would at least figure out how to remove the test for codes PO751 and PO757 and I would raise the TCC duty cycle to 90/100 That will at least keep you out of limp mods and get a firm lockup apply .You will still likely have issue with hitting the rev limiter at WOT and odd shift timing however

Let me know how you make out using the Predator for your Trans. adjustments? I have a thread on here and Diablo w/no responses?? I'm going to put headers on and a 3000 stall and already own a Predator.

A Vig3200 shouldn't need a tune at all. I used to have a Vig3200 in my SS back in the day, and it was untuned. It drove perfectly fine with no codes.

Some cars do fine and are more tolerant than others , I have seen the same stall pulled from one car where there were no codes or tuning done and worked fine placed in another car and throw po757 etc right off the bat.Its not IMO the type stall that really makes any difference at all its the car

I needed a tune. I just installed my Vig 3200. Its not throwing any codes, but the shift points are way off and it stalled out on my a couple of times. So its getting tuned right now

I've got mine closer but not there yet. Shifts are still off and when I went wot it was acting like it was slipping in some spots as it went up in rpm's so I have to figure out whats going on there and I should be good to go.
