Default Stall suggestions/ideas needed....

Hey guys,

Need your opinions on the best stall for what I'm going to be using the car for.

It's a 99 Z28, mods as follows :

Lid, ported throttle body, LS6 intake, Hooker long tubes, ORY, Magnaflow cat back.

I have no plans on going any farther, with the exception of a stall...Even though it's got a 2:73 gear in it, I'd rather just leave well enough alone with the 10 bolt.

Car will see 99% street duty on street tires.

Thanks for the input!

dont buy anything under a 3600 in my opinion. i have a vig3600 which is a pretty loose verter. lots of people say the vigs are underrated and compare it more too a 4000 stall. i love it.

I would have to say around 3000 since you have 2.73 gears and plan to keep them . With a 4000 stall you would be doing near 70 in first gear at rated stall lol

I have always said the same (3000) if you plan on staying w/ the 2.73's...others disagree and say the SS3600.

if you plan on running street tires i don't think i would even get a stall. from what i have seen stalls do not help on street tires, even with better shift extensions. many disagree so it will probably depend on your combo but i have a feeling i would look elsewhere.

Get with Circle D and order they're street series. Mine drives like stock and stalls to around 3100. Very affordable too.

Can't wait to see how it does at the track!
