Default How long does it take you car to shift after command point ?

After the install of my new PT4000 in my car it now takes 350-400rpm's to shift. Example Shift point 6600- and tags rev limiter at 7000 then shifts. Lower to 6500 and all is fine. I guess I need to atap my runs to see actual shift rpm.

Is this normal ? Does most of your cars do this?

Its costing me ET... Rev limiter

Thanks

It's not the rev limiter that's the problem,
it's the grandma shift control programming.
Cutting down the shift adaptation time like
with Predator or other tuning will make a big
difference.

I guess I should have said I have Edit and have done some major changes in shift areas.

I think I will try the OD vs. D thing. I searched and that seems like it may be what’s happening to me.

my car = no shift lag........ thanks to flp.... I usually manually shift mine since it doesn't shift high enough.... and I lost my HPPIII(or I beleive someone snagged it from my car at the track.... but too bad for them b/c my car is tuned!)

The slip from a high stall can confuse the computer.

2 solutions are to 1) adjust the shift point as you have done; or 2) adjust the shift delay table.
