Scared to go from Yank SS to the PT
My 1/8th mile speed from last night was a little over 98 MPH but when I ran my 10.908 with the LS2 back in December my trap speed was 126.002 and with my buddy’s car (which has the same converter and gears) it was 126.105 MPH.
The PT was designed to be the best NA converter at the track and when used from a roll it is one pulling mother, but it likes the be geared correctly 3.42 up to 4.10.
The SS has a lower end drivabilty factor that some people seem to like and works with higher geared cars(2.73 - 3.42) it pulls great but will not have the shift extention as the design was to allow a shorter lockup extention point so nitrous could be added.
