Yank Crossmember & Dipstick Is anyone using this crossmember from Yank??
Also.. who makes the best dipstick (availablity, fitment, etc) for a M6 --> TH400 Conversion??
I know Madman, Yank, and Lokar make them.. any specifics??
Re: Yank Crossmember & Dipstick Yup..yup.. not the Yank, and it's somewhere between Arizona & New York.
I'm getting the other needed items.. ie, shifter, cooler, etc, etc.
I vowed (at MIR) to never ruin another 1.56 60' with a missed gear.
PS- The tranny company aren't sponsors.. so I can't elaborate, but East Side has a good relationship with them- to the point where Ken deals with the owner on a first name basis.
Re: Yank Crossmember & Dipstick I have a brand new Yank TH400 crossmember/torque arm mount (no DS loop though) for sale if you need one. Long story why I have it but I just threw it in the crawlspace the other day thinking I may use it someday but I probably wont - shoot me an e-mail if you're interested.

Re: Yank Crossmember & Dipstick Well the MN6 cross member matches up perfectly to the TH400 tranny mount. You will just need to get an Energy Suspension urethane mount, because the stock mount won't work.
The Lokar dipstick is fine, but short, so unless you have removed your heater box, or you like to contort yourself, don't bother.
The Madman piece looks just like stock A4 dipstick, but is a PITA to install. Make sure you put it in place before the tranny goes in. You'll play hell trying to get it in after the tranny is in

Re: Yank Crossmember & Dipstick Not sure kevin. Wasn't an issue for me because my heater box and PCM are moved. I just secured the dipstick to the back side of the passenger strut tower.
