Transgo shift kit AND tuning is the best approach IMO. Made my shifts quick and crisp.

But if you don't do the shift kit, you can tune your line pressure up, reduce your shift times, and reduce or eliminate torque management.

What? Shift kit settings or tuning?

I have both.

Simple answer is to shorten desired shift time, raise shift pressures only. Don't raise base pressure.
Get rid of TM 100%
There is/was a how to here that showed how to do part of it, and said it was a full TM delete. It wasn't.

FWIW I still do not understand why people insist on keeping xx% TM
it's like putting $20,000 into an 800hp engine and limiting it to use 400hp to save the trans. TM protects GM under the warranty period, not your transmission.

If someone has solid proof TM is a benefit, post it up, I could use a good laugh.

Guess I will have to research it because I only had my car tuned once pre most mods and don't know if they turned it off or made any trans adjustments.

On the other side of it, can you or anyone else post up logged data in consistent conditions to show the benefit of eliminating TM?
