Default stall or trans bad

I am haveing a hard time trying to find out which is bad. I have a stock stall with a 4l60e trans. The shift good but sometime when I jump on it. It will not pulled until I take my foot off the gas, then it will make a noise then it will pull. It does this sometimes. It does this at low or high speeds.

Sounds like it could be either? I think the only way you can really tell is if you take out the Trans. for inspection. Maybe one of the sponsers will be of more help!

First check the basic like fluid level and condition of the oil (burnt etc). Then check to see if there are any codes.

It's the transmission. At this point the converter and cooler are probably full of garbage. I'd start by dropping the pan and looking for metal and other trash.

I would agree on pulling the pan to see whats in there but it does sound like you are in need of a trans and converter
