Question Problem, Please Help! With A4!!!!!

I`ve had the tranny rebuilt by Century in Houston. What my problem is every once in awhile my overdrive seems to slip really bad. When I down shift to drive its okay. Now when I turn the car off and restart it fixes the problem, and works in overdrive. It flips a code and I had MTI look at it. Seems the valve sticks open in overdrive. I have had it replaced once after the rebuild. This has happen to me 4-5 times again. The service light clears most the time on it`s own. This last time it stayed. Is there anyway I can clear it and what do you guys think? Tranny shifts good and hard all the time, just every now and then this happens!

It's possible they over torqued the valve body. What is the code?

Have you talked to Mike at Century? Is it past the warranty period? I've always found him to be very helpful.

Sounds like your converter isnt staying locked in OD. And once you shut it off and restart it, its fine for awhile.
