Mine was very loose after the install and before the tune. After the tune, it is no longer what I would call very loose, but still hits like a banshee when I nail it.
So, me.

u definitely need a tune. my car ran like **** so bad. i believe once u add a stall, you will probably end up getting codes P0751, and P0757 i belive. and they will need to be deleted.

I would like to know this as well. I just bought a used 3600 yank and will be installing it shortly. I have a diablo predator, will this be enough to tune it? Or will i need like a mail order tune?

I didn't need a tune, but my stall is a pretty modest 3000.

I know for us you needa take off the PWM...to do that you need to set the TCC duty cycle min table to 99% and the max table to 100% in every block...otherwise the pulsing burns up the stall clutch

your shift points are going to be off too. if you don't tune that you will be bouncing off the rev limiter due to the additional slip.
misfire tables will need some desensitizing also.

I got mine tuned after I installed the Yank. With it, my car drove like stock in the city during normal driving but it takes off like raped ape.

This is taken off of one of the sites I frequent often. Basically set it up exactly as shown in the picture for those two tables, and that deletes the PWM
