Just a little info :

I have had 3 different Yank converters in my car for last few years and heres the times I've run with them.

First up is a ST3500 went as fast as 11.55 with a 1.56 60ft with mac headers
second was a TP4400 went as fast as 11.39 with a 1.50 60ft with hooker headers
and finnally the SS4000 curently have gone as fast as 11.32 with 1.48 60ft with KOOK headers.

Yes that would be a great choice but do not forget the correct tire combo too.

Great info and write up. I may have looked at getting 1 of these out of the states but thought it was going to be to much trouble(freight/duty/etc) ended up with a localy built 1. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Ian

Soon you will be able to go direct to your local GM dealer to get your YANK converter thru GM Performance Parts.

When I first started the car and put it in drive, I almost thought it was the stock converter... That was until I floored it. This things hauls when in WOT now, and the dead spots are totally gone.
this is what i wanted to hear. i'm so getting one now.
