4l65???? well i was about to put a th350 in my 96z to get rid of the 4l60e and i have come across a deal on a 4l65??? would that be a good tranny for the car or not have not herd alot about them??
The primary difference is the addition of five pinion planets and the 65e is slightly strong but not my much than the 60e biut neither the stock 60e or the 65e stock is anywhere close to the built 60e not even in the ball park.

Is that the only thing you did to it? I want to beef up mine alittle because I dont have the funds for a complete build right now.

ya its not a daily driver nor would it be dependable or affordable to do so haha it is street legal for like a town cruise on the weekends bout it and with the motor and stall i had the 4l60 would never stay in overdrive so i wont miss it i just want something that will hold together and dont take a lot of mods to put in
