What could this be?? Ok a few months ago I had a stall converter installed (ptc 3600). The car goes throught all the gears fine and launches good also. However somtimes if im driving around 65mph the car seems like it automaticlly down shift. Also somtimes i'll be driving around the same speed (60-70) and when i go to speed up it seems like its wants to slip, or its stalling way beyond 3600! Does all the above sound like low trans fluid??
Have you been tuned for the stall and any ses lights on?

No the car wasnt tuned for a stall because several people told me that I wouldnt need one for it and there arent any trans codes in it.

For a 3600 stall you will almost always need tuning and some code test deleted . It sounds like you are dropping into limp mode which is a comon issue with a high stall and untuned 4l60e pcm
