4L80 tune no longer *required*
#21
I'm doing a similar swap right now, I have 2000 5.3 stock pcm and tune for a silverado. Right now I haven't fired it up yet. I have an earlier style 4L80E so what all what would I need to do as far as tuning?
I have the stock 2000 silverado engine/trans wiring harness too not sure about trans connections either. My tranny has the large round connector and a single two pin connector?

so let me clarify this you DO NOT have to merge files now?
I'm in the midst of getting ready to do a 6.0/4l80E swap into my M6 99' TA
I purchased the LSXtune M6 to 4l80E harness adapter...I had planned on merging files, if I can load up a 4l60E file and make it work that would be fantastic....
