new TC
i'm getting a TC soon and wanted to ask some questions i'm looking at the 3500 TCI but was wondering if this is going to be streetable in a car i drive every day and how the tranny is going to hold up its stock i drive a 98 z28 by the way my tranny shifts hard and is still in good shape form what i can tell except for some noise while shifting into reverse or drive from park is this normal
anyway is this a good choice in conveters, will i see some big gains from it (i have 2.73 grars at the moment if thats helps) is it streetable, is there any special care needed (i'm getting tranny a cooler with it) like different tranny fluid or anything
well thanks
That's a good converter for an everyday driver. It's the same one that the Colonel was running in his everyday driver with the stock longblock. He ran 11.82 at a raceweight of 3550. I think you'll be happy with it.

the same material on the SSF3500 as my SF3000, so
I recommend that you stay with a Dexron ATF (or at
least avoid B&M fluid; see my tale of temporary woe).
The site says it's "carbon fiber" though at another time
I was told it's a carbon ceramic.
trust me once you drive a car with the TCI SSF 3500 you will want more and more stall. Good LuckWeS
