How long has you stock trans lasted
I've got a 2000 z28 with 120k miles on the stock trans. It has a shift kit, trans cooler, and 3400 fuddle. Numerous runs at the track on a 125 to 150 shot, somewhere around 530rwhp on spray and 380 to 400 on motor. Still shifts perfect 1 to 2 with a little delay on 2nd to 3rd shifting at 6,750 rpms. I'm getting a vibration in 3rd gear only. Not sure what it is but it hasn't blow up yet so game on i guess. lol This car has been my dd for the last 3 years.

Well this thread made me chuckle so I'll put my two cents in. About 40k miles I did a cam swap into my car, everything was holding together in my car very well at that point, by 50k miles the trans and rear end were toast. Now I do beat on my car every time I drive it, and now at 60k miles the 2nd and 3rd tranys are broken along with the second 10 bolt. Needless to say I'm not throwing anymore stock parts back in this car no matter how cheap they are. Not to mention I melted down a piston and put in a forged LQ4 at 53k. Damn money pit.
I'm glad other people have had better luck with their fail-bodys.

ive had my stall in for about 500 miles on my stock tranny. my car has 39k miles. granted i really dont beat on my car much so mine may last a little longer. that and i had a shift kit install and had the tranny builder look everything over and he said everything looked great internally so i didnt worry about it. my trany going out never really crosses my mind. i know it will happen eventually but i doubt any time soon.

Went out at 71,xxx miles. Had a Vig. 3200 stall in for two years with tranny cooler. Put MT ET Streets on in June 2009 and trans went in September 2009. Not even putting down that much power.

94 z28. First trans went out at about 123k then after various failures on my part I finally got another tranny at 126k only to realize the trans they sent back from the shop was a truck transmission that wasnt even a 94. So then I took it to Late Model Performance in Garland, Texas(shameless plug) and Daniel figured it out and got me on the road again.
