Default Tci flexplate ?

My car had a th400 in it with a tci flex plate. I put the flex plate on that came with my converter. but found no spacer unless the spacer is the shim that is bolted to back of tci flexplate it has 3 small bolts on the back that hold it on i think. FWIW the TCI unit looks like a better piece can i use it with my yank converter instead of the other? Looks like all I would need are longer converter bolts which is no big deal. Please help I am lost.

i use this plate on my ls7 with 4l85e/yank ss3600(no spacer).

Alright I guess I will just run with the TCI and sell or hold on to this CAT flexplate along with my 400.

The TCI flexplate will work just fine with the Yank converter. You may have to use a little longer converter bolt like you mentioned.

i went thru something sim., used the TCI 399754
i orig had the 4l80e setup with a .400 spacer and flat flywheel, FTI converter set up for this
when i swapped the new engine in, i got the TCI flywheel, said it was for a 4l80e-it didnt fit at all, but after talking to Greg at FTI, he gave me some good advice on stuff to ck, meas.-turns out you dont need the spacer with the TCI flywheel, it is thick and with the spacer they install, it lines up in the same place as the 4l80e setup-TCI gives you a spacer, but tells you dont use it with an LS engine, but w/o the fact. spacer now the converter wont reg.,
but using the supplied spacer bet. the flywheel and converter, it fixes everything-just had to get some new flywheel bolts (Scat uses American threads, i had gotten some for the orig spacer, now to long) and converter bolts-even a call to TCI didnt help, the instructions need some tweaking for sure, but its in and works great-sure grateful Greg @ FTI puts up with my calls, i can be a pita, lol

I talked to yank about this the other day and just decided to put the cat in that they sent. I put it in and she bolted right up.
