Default Time for a new converter?

ok well I currently have a 3600 stall, and am needing to know what you guys recommend for my current setup. I have bolt ons, Ms3 cam on 112lsa, 3.73 gears, and spray. I plan on spraying in the 125 to 150 range. future plans include prc 2.5 5.3 heads and fast 90 setup. I have been told to step up to a stall in the 4400 range to really take advantage of the ms3s power range. Let me know what you guys recommend. I can get the raceweight of the car with me in it if someone needs to know.

to my understanding you dont want to run a 4K+ with nitrous bc it will "push through" the converter. Call up the converter sponsors and see what they recommend.

Lower stalls with boost and nitruos and higher with NA setups.... the way i understand anyway

Deffinetally talk to whoever made your stall and they will get you setup!

Contact greg at FTI! I recently purchased his 3800 w/ a 2.1 str, spec'd for spray! I have not had a chance to install it yet, so results are awaiting till next spring. From what I hear its a badass converter on the jug tho...

thanks for the advice guys. I really would like to step up to something above the 4000 range built for the spray maybe a vendor could chime in and give me some direction.

Talk to Chris at Circle D....he has a 4500 converter that can be sprayed I believe. Also, Yank's SS series would do the trick. I've seen an SS4200 that did well on spray.

more specs on your current stall? Because if you spray on it it may become a 4400 stall, lmao!
