Default Trans. lines for a th350

What did you guys use for trans. lines on your th350's. braided lines, steel lines that you bent. And if you have pics or part numbers for braided lines and fittings post them.

Solid steel lines is what I always use. Not sure of your application, but you could always search Jegs or Summit or perform a google search for finding braided or solid lines for your TH350.

Here is a stainless steel braided line kit from Jegs:

I just buy straight sticks of 3/8" or 1/2" and bend it myself.

Most trans shops carry the 5/16"X60" straight easy bend lines for 10.00-12.00 per line. You can go fancy with the braided stuff with the -6AN case fittings. Many of the older Jeep Cherokee or Cadillac 400 trannies have the larger 3/8" case fittings that will fit the 350 trans for larger 3/8" line diameter.

OUCH. Most parts stores have the aluminized sticks for $7 for a 60" piece of 5/16" or 3/8".

I run the 3/8 "brake line" from the auto parts store and hook each end up with -6 steel braided. Never had a problem. Been this way since 96.

I've also got the "brake line" on my car. A friend used braided line and AN fittings on his and looks awesome. I'll be making the switch to braided next year.

FWIW: I'm running a poly mount with my TH350
