I just switched back to a 4l60e from a TH350. When I had the 350 I had my tuner take all the trans stuff from the tune. I just got the 4L60e in and wanted to see if it engaged all the gear. The car has reverse, and moves when its in drive third and second gears. When I put the car in first it kinda lurches and dosent want to move. If you bring the rev's up it will move slowly. I checked the fluid level and it seems fine. I was wondering if it the tune messing it up. Let me know what you think.

 

Yes without the pcm proper tune in the pcm the trans will just be in limp mode and if the trans has a transgo it will bind up in manual low one when in that condition

Might also check the linkage, if you start in second
you get no first.
