Request from the Auto Mod
On behalf of the team, we are trying to setup a video resource guide for the automatic transmission section avaliable to new and current members and passerbys. This will consist of a future sticky which will provide *videos* and information about autos, mods, times, weight, etc. If you would like to participate simply reply to this thread or feel free to send me a PM and i'll compile you to the list.
Details Needed
Year, Make, and Model of Car
Weight (if you have that access)
Mods:
Engine (Please be more in depth than c.i.)(cam specs, pistons, rods, etc)
Exhaust (Detailed, make of headers, LT's, Y pipe, cats or no cats, x-pipe, etc)
Suspension (shocks, springs, lowered?, k-member, etc.)
Gears
STALL (Model and Flash)
Videos and Times:
Most IMPORTANTLY please link a video of your car either in-car, out-car, or at the track. Please no revving videos. We would especially love to see in-car videos if you have any. Maximum of 2 videos please.
What we are trying to do is get away from the "which stall would be best" threads. It is much easier and much more efficient to decide what type of stall/gears you want depending on your mods if you can "see" the outcome. Alot of people like myself on here are "visual readers" as I like to call them.
I will need at LEAST 7 participants in order to start a list.
Ready?
Go.

I keep getting the terrible flashbacks of the TDs sticky in external thats like 60 pages long and you still get daily request for duals info. Then you tell them there is a sticky and they say they read it already. And you say o really and in 60 pages you didnt find an answer? Then they call you an *******. Its like a lose lose situation
I know the other sticky here is listed info/opinions on converters, we should comprise this one with as many driving converter videos as possible on LS powered vehicles. Gauge shots, track films, etc.

Year, Make, and Model of Car: 2002 Chevy Camaro Z28
Weight: full weight, haven't had it on a scale though
Mods: Yank PT4000 2.2 STR, 3.23 gears, Kooks LTs & ORY, Magnaflow catback, SLP lid, UMI LCAs, and minor tuning with HP Tuners. Otherwise stock engine and suspension at the time of the run and video, front sway bar still in place.
Videos and Times:
Best 1/4 mile: 11.9680 @ 112.61mph, 1.6543 60'. This was on about a 45 degree night, stock suspension with LCAs, and 275/40R17 Nitto 555 RII road racing tires. Had to leave the line soft and it tapped the limiter on the 2-3 shift, but the DA was below -1000 IIRC. Hoping to finish off the suspension and dip into the 1.5s with better tires and more tuning.
Most of this video is just normal driving in different traffic conditions and on the interstate. I also made a couple of quick pulls to show the shift extension.
