Default Performabuilt? FLT?

I have a friend who's wanting some advice on a new 4L60e. I have no clue but he brought up those two names. He has a H/C/I WS6 putting out about 470 he said to the wheels. He's running a stock 10 bolt w/ 3.73s and he has a Vig 3600 stall. He's all motor and doesn't spray. Drive his car on the street. Anyone got any good reviews on these two vendors? I converted over to a TH400 when I did my 9" so I have no clue what a built 4L60e entails. I'm pretty sure he just wants a transmission that he can daily drive, and when he takes it to the track it's not going to take a **** on him a year later. I know people claim this transmission can support X amount of power but lets me real. If you own these transmission how long have you had it? How does it perform at the track? Any real major issues? Thanks

Ill speak from my experience. Frank at PerformaBuilt has taken care of me, top notch. Customer service is a+++++++ bar none. Tranny is perfect and shift perfect. Takes the pain haha lol.

I had a little issue with the pcm connector coming lose. Called Frank. Had one out to me the next day haha. Thanks again.

couldnt have said it better myself. i have personal experience with FLT but ive been around for years and theres always positive reviews. I went with performabuilt and havent looked back. Frank is always a pleasure to deal with. im at roughly 600 to the ground through a 4800 lb extended cab silverado. it takes everything i can throw at it.

You can't go wrong with either! Both have solid builds. I'm personally daily drivin a Performabuilt Level 2 and their 4k stall and love it. I beat this thing like it owes me money with about 400rwhp and its never had a single issue!
