th400 to ls1 converter flexplate problems

Default th400 to ls1 converter flexplate problems

i bought a tci flexplate 399753 and i have a ptc converter, the bolt spacing on the converter is more spread out then the flexplate. what do i need?

Have you tried both patterns on the flywheel? There are 2 bolt patterns on that flywheel/flexplate.

Your going to need the 399754 flexplate. I have the 399753 and it fits 10.75 and 11.00 converters

The wide bolt pattern. Measure from the bolt circle to the middle and times that number x2.

center of the bolt hole to center of bolt hole is 10"

Don't measure bolt hole to bolt hole. Measure the bolt hole to the center of the converter and times that measurement x2

Exactly what Gee101 said. Here is a pic of what he is explaining:

edit: please ignore the diameter symbols on there. It's the distance x 2. For some reason I had diameter stuck in my head.

ok i think if i remember right the center hole of the converter tab to the center of the converter was about 5.5" so that would make 11"

its 5 3/4 just got home and mesured, so what flex plate do i need
