I need help ok the problem i am having is kinda weird and intermitent.For some reason on my way home from work my rpms pick up and my speed stays the same(rpms will go to 3-4000 rpms if i let it most times just 2-2500).And it does it at the same spot on my trip home.at the same small hill everytime.When i let off the pedal or cruise most of the time it goes away and will start back up in a bit.Any ideas on WTF is going on?I have floored it when it happens and it feels like it has a hell of a stall.It does not do it on the way to work or cruising around.and it is a small hill that I have to go over a bridge as well(the Coleman in Gloucester)which has 5 times the distance and at least the same grade.Any help on what too check out is appreciated.I am a mechanic but autos are probably my weakest point.oh yea it might help to let everyone know what I am dealing with.its a 00 Z.Thanks again

With you having codes that effect the drivability of your vehicle, they could also effect the functionality of your transmission. In some cases codes will disable the tcc function and also make a trans only function in certain gears. It might be best for you to do the repairs on the other issues that you are having and go from there. Vince

I will mess with the EGR code I got that code not long before I started having this problem if I remember right.The low cat eff. code has been on for oh 100,000 or so, so I really doubt that is affecting it.Yea the poor girl has high mileage.I am at 181,XXX and running strong.This is my 2nd trans that is probably around 120,XXXon it now,not for sure it was a junkyard special.Thanks for the help.I will let you know what I find out.
