A lot of converters look just like this one. I ran one, an Edge, for about 1 1/2 years and it was fine. Produce a pretty nice 60 ft too.

Ever heard the "Ya get what ya pay for?", ...
Sometimes you can find good used units for about that or a little more.

No real proof tho, just speculation.

So, yea, it may be a risk purchasing this product, ..., but ya never know.
People buy expensive brand name convertors & tear them up too.

I don't even need to click the link. Just say NO to parts on ebay.

Call Circle D and they can hook you up with an affordable option.

That Ebay stage 3 stall has the mounting ring on it. The pic shown is one of there stage 4 or stage 5 stalls, and might not even be for a Camaro. There are lots of converters that have mounting rings on them, but once you get into the $600-$1,000 range you get a nice billet piece. Rev-Max is a local company out of Arizona with a number that you can call. they just happen to have some of there products on Ebay.

No.

If Circle D can do a stall for 4oo as stated above that sounds like a great choice.

besides the lock up clutch issue there are tons of things to consider with stalls, like efficiency etc.... Read on Yank's website, they have a really good tech talk section, also search "cheap stall" here on LS1tech there is a good thread with cut open stalls and an explanation of that adapter ring people are describing above.

But somebody used the that converter in the past with a bad experience with it?
I'm in the same spot considering the same converter!
I like to hear somebody who used it and what experience he had.
