OK is a relative term. I think it would have enough slip to help with any idle issues, so it would be OK. But from a performance stand point something in the 3000+ range would make it shine better. What are your plans for the car, any other mods or future plans?

it will drive fine....I think a 3600 is better suited for performance with that cam.

I would not recomend anything less than 3600 but then again my job is to make your car boogie and put a smile on your face and a frown on the competitors face. Give me a call at 1-866-726-8358 and find out what a custom built converter for your combination can do for you.

I have a vigilante 2800 stall with a ms3 cam and p/p 243 heads and 3.73 gears and I like it. The T.A runs great with it. Maybe later ill try a higher stall converter but for now im happy with it.

If it will be ok is more relative to your personal desire. Most would say go above 3k, I do as well. The one thing I will say that is most important, dont buy a cheap converter, if its a cheap brand it could very likely have bad effects.. search "cheap converter" people have had them come apart and destroy transmissions, also you want an efficient converter that will pull hard while rolling too and keep heat down.... I have pulled several cars on the highway that have more mods and higher power than I do and the only thing I can think of that would cause that is the difference in stall efficiency. And you will generally notice better efficiency in better brand converters.
