what do you guys think about this cooler?

it will be working with my 3800 fuddle racing stall converter. you think its enough? i don't know how to find out what BTU rating it has but i figured with a fan it would do the job.

You're better off with a stacked plate design, rather than a tube and fin. To each his own though. Get a $70 B&M super cooler and be done with it. You won't have any trouble at all. You could run a fan if you're that worried, but it won't be necessary.

The stacked plate design is more efficient at cooling.
The good ones are made by Long Industries and Packaged as Tru-Cool and B&M.
However there is some evidence that the stacked plate coolers are more restrictive and this can contribute to high pressure in the converter charge circuit.
On some applications this may lead to engine thrust bearing failure.

I just have a simple $50 dollar 3/4" x 10" x 15-7/8" tube and fin cooler on my car. No stock cooler. Mounted infront of radiator.
My trans temps stay 130-140 in lockup and 170-190 stop and go, this is reading from the pressure port also.
