Default Help with choosing converter!!!????

Hey guys i have a 2004 a4 c5 vette. my mods are about to be a tsp 224r cam 114 lsa, prc stage 1 ls6's, tsp ported fast 92 w/ 90mm ls2 tb, tsp lt's w/ x-pipe, vararam, also my gears are a 2.73's and i am not changing them!! i want something very streetable, i dont want to ruin the awsome drivability the vette has. I will take it to the track occasionally, and i will run 17x11 zr-1's on the back with drag radials for the track. also most importantly i do not want it to affect my top end at all!!!!

I run a Circle D 4C in my C5, and it made the most difference out of all my mods. It still has the factory 2.73's and it drives great. The top end is not affected at all my car still runs in the 180's. They can adjust the tune to lock the converter at any mph you want. Mine does not lock in 3rd unless you turn on the cruise control, and in OD it locks at 60 mph to keep it from lugging at low RPM's. Again in OD it will lock at 40-55mph if you turn on the cruise control.

I totally agree with David. the Circle D 4C would be a perfect match for the 224/224 cam and still provide very good driving manners. The 4C will work well with the 2.73s and it'll be the best mod you've done to date. Also do the converter before the cam swap.

sounds good to me too...they both will not give up anything up top...

my ss3600 actually gained me 1mph on the top end over the stock stall...
