Default 4l80e Flexplate??

I've searched the forum with no luck. I have a 408 and I'm trying to install my 4l80e but I'm running into some issues with the 80e flexplate bolts. The bolts that were removed from the transmisson do not fit on the scat crank. I'd like to keep the 80e flexplate as it has the spacer. What are you guys using for the swap? Can I still use this 80e flexplate or do I need to buy and lsx flexplate and bolts?

Thanks for the info. It ended up being 7/16 bolts. The ones that came with the 80e are m11 So I'm going to have to drill out the holes on the flex plate to accommodate the larger 7/16's bolts. Its not much so I should be fine.

i went thru ARP's cat. looking for dims. close to the length of the stock metric bolts but in 7/16 for my stroker-i think i ended up using converter bolts, came with nut and bolt, maybe in a 3 pack, cant remember-they were a touch longer than stock length
i ended up using a TCI flywheel for a 4L80E, which came with longer metric bolts(although shorter than stock 4l80e+ spacer bolts), i found ARP bolts for a Mopar that were the same length for it
not sure if you have to drill out the flywheel, i dont remember doing it

He can't, the crank is threaded for 7/16 fine, can't use the factory metric fittings.

Yup, can't use factory bolts. I guess I'll call Arp and see if view have the ones I need. I wonder I'd the hardwear store would have these in a high grade that would work??

Out of all of the stores in my area, including specific fastener stores, ACE Hardware had the very best selection of standard and metric bolts. Including 12.9 bolts and Flanged-head bolts. Check them out if you have one near by
