Want more mph(more efficient convertor)

The pye3600 sounds like a good choice to me-lots of people have recommended it to me so far.
Dan , My mph is slowly getting better. I just think alot of it was my nitrous setup needed tuning . Now i am sure the spray is doing what it should and now i want to get a convertor that will work with H/C setup and still be good with the bottle.(Ya know -just in cause i run into a 600 RWHP Project Cobra. J/K) I want to be able to keep up.

I don't know about driving in D , I always stick it in OD and let the pcm handle the rest.(Sorry-can't help ya there)
I want a convertor with a higher STR than my current Vig 3600. Something higher and alittle more efficient would be great.(Might be asking for too much).

Alas i chose what i chose for the bang for buck (budget fast auto lol). I think those yanks are nearly double a tci. I'll let you know how this 3500 (they do make 3800/etc) works out when i pick it up tonight. I'm going from stock (lid/catback) to all the mods in my sig, and am gonna do a thorough review of driveability with this tci. something that i think alot of people haven't really mentioned. I guess "looseness" is all subjective to each driver, but i do 99% city driving so i'll have alot to say good or bad after a few days 
where does your vig3600 flash stall too?
How high does it actully stall at and whats the str? What about using it with nitrous?
My pick for a 100-150 shot with heads/cam would be the SS4000. Up to 200 and I'd go SS4000E. Up to 300 I'd go PY3600E. Above that I'd go PY3400E. Now I'm speaking for the majority of heads/cam packages (shifting below 7000 NA.) Make it one that shifts at 7500 on motor and the choices would obviously change.
But, if you can get the thing converted to a tight multidisk for a cheap price (I have no idea what they charge), you might go that route.

I run my E/T streets at 22psi and launch on the bottle-footbraking to 2500 or so(have tried to go from 1000 rpm but 2500 seems to work best) and i 60ft in the 1.5's.
Colonel - The vertor you mentioned SS4000,stupid question,but is that a Yank vertor? Who makes it?
Patriot stage II head/cam package with a upgrade to the LS6 intake and tuning is my (current) plan. Along with injectors and more fuel pump.
I dont want a drag/race car,i just want a really fun (fast) street car that can be driven around town. This current setup is the way its been for about 1 year and i drive it when ever to where ever i want to-even daily to work if the weather is good. I really don't want to lose that. I can put up with a lot of convertor(to a point) and some "lump" at idle" . But would like a good all round package.

I will call them and find out some more info. The SS4000 did not show up on there site. The SS4000E did ,i will find out more once i call.
